Description Description This dataset identifies beaches within the SA Marine Parks Network from which shore fishing is allowed within the Sanctuary Zones. These shore fishing exemptions are an important component of internal marine park zoning and are expected to be completed by late 2012. Usage Defines beaches within the SA Marine Parks Network from which shore fishing is allowed. This dataset should be used in association with the South Australian Marine Parks Network (Internal Zoning).

Data Quality Lineage This dataset uses sections of the South Australian (SA) Coastline (median high water) to identify areas within Sanctuary Zones where fishing is allowed from the shore. A copy of the linear coastline feature was created and split at the boundaries between where shore fishing is allowed and other areas. The features were attributed and only the shore fishing allowed areas were kept. Completeness Data set is complete. Positional Accuracy Positional accuracy of the South Australian Marine Park Shore Fishing Exemptions layer is related to the positional accuracy of the South Australian (SA) coastline (median high water) which is stated as +/- 25m.
