Data Quality
| Lineage | A list of boat ramp locations was compiled by DPTI and accessed from the Transport SA website. Boat ramp locations were updated or added to the existing point coverage from the DPTI boat ramp location information and further refined using 1:50,000 topographic maps and aerial photography of various scales. Several boat ramps were shifted to align more closely to the coastline. Additional information from DPTI accompanying each boat ramp, was added to each point in the coverage where available. Boatswain Point and Corny Point boat ramps were added after disccusions with marine park local advisory group members - April 2011. |
| Completeness | This data set is considered complete with reference to the original boat ramp list compiled by the Office for Coast and Marine, DPTI boat ramps information and any other sources. |
| Positional Accuracy | Positional accuracy of this data set varies according to the source data and ranges from +/- 5 to +/- 50 metres. A few points were unable to be accurately placed and may only be accurate to +/-100 metres. |
