Description

DescriptionThe Residential Development Code was introduced in 2009 to make planning and building approvals for home construction and renovation simpler, faster and cheaper.
UsageThis dataset defines the spatial extent of the Residential Development Code - the "Determined Area for the Purposes of Schedule 4 - Complying development Clause 2B - New Dwellings" in the The South Australian Government Gazette (27 November 2009 - Supplementary Gazettes 1 to 6). Data Quality

LineageThe Residential Development Code "Determined Area" is initially derived from Planning Zones, Policy Areas and Precints. Cadastre and road centrelines were used to further define where the "Determined Area" did not apply for partial zones, policy and princints.
CompletenessSpatial and attribute data are 100% complete for the State
Positional AccuracyThis data set has been derived from the digital cadastre boundaries and therefore positional accuracy will vary with the accuracy of the these boundaries. In the metro area, this ranges from 1:2500 to 1:10000.
