Data Quality Lineage The generalised land use spatial layer is derived from joining the state wide property cadastre (applying the latest yearly snapshot) and the generalised land use description lookup table. From the 2017 processing enhancements for community and strata plans and parcels containing residential land use and non-private residential land uses were made to improve the land use layer. From 2018 processing enhancements for community and strata plans and parcels were expanded for all land uses. Consideration has also been given to DCDB parcels dedicated to conservation identified in the layer Protected Areas - NPWS and Conservation Reserve Properties (CONSERVATION.NpwsaProperties). These DCDB parcels dedicated to conservation have land use category as RESERVE.
