Data Quality Lineage This dataset has been created using heads up digitising. The Boundaries were derived through a broad departmental consultation process. Boundaries were digitized from existing datasets such as Local Government Areas, DCDB Parcels, old NRM Regions and State Marine Park Zoning. The boundaries were repeatedly modified and adjusted until they were topologically coincident with the administrative and other boundaries from which they were derived. Completeness The dataset is complete with upgrades to be made as required. Positional Accuracy The positional accuracy is the same as the DCDB Parcels and the administrative boundaries digitised. This positional accuracy ranges from sub-meter in the metropolitan area through to +/- 10 meters in the rural districts and +/- 100 meters (or more) in the outback/ pastoral regions.
